That is a great list of link checkers. I didn’t know there were so many.

Currently I use a WordPress plugin that will help check backlinks on my blog. Unfortunately, it won’t check all the links, which is where the above sites may help.

Hi there,

Missed off the one I am currently building :)
Mine gives you a little bit more information, not only will it find broken links but you can see any nofollow, blocked by robots, search by anchor text and all sorts.

Worth a look, and it’s free!

Hey Sahil,
Great list, i think i will use these in future rather than my own server. ( wordpress plugin )

There is a plugin called broken link checker for wordpress as well however it can be very server intensive.. I did a check on my site after not doing a check for ages and there was over 400 broken links in comments alone..

Wish I had checked it more regularly..

Regards,
Timon

I agree with you , What you have mentioned , Many bloggers and webmaster does not care about . All these websites are good but sorry to say that I don’t like iWebTool . But LinkTiger is awesome . I have liked it .

15 Yash Vardhan

There is also a wordpress plugin for that named Broken link check for WordPress, you can try that too.

A lot of great resources. Checking for broken links is incredibly important and these tools (along with the WP plugin mentioned in the comments) can be a great way to do that.

I’d also suggest you take a look at SpringTrax.com. Unlike other tools, SpringTrax looks at broken links coming from all types of broken links. So, like the tools you listed you’ll know about broken links resulting from your website. But, with SpringTrax you’ll also know about broken links coming from somewhere other than your website. For instance, we see a lot of broken links coming from Google searches, Facebook shares, old bookmarks, offline advertising, and more.

Thanks for awesome free tools Sahil ! Is it really possible that my site has 0 broken links and errors? I hope it’s true, don’t get me wrong, but I’m skeptical.
