Are you a WordPress user? Then I’m sure many times you might have came across situations like your WordPress blog crashed due to some crappy incompatible plugins, or someone trying to access some malicious scripts or some nasty auto bot trying to rip off your blog contents. And you may have tried many different plugins to get rid of these unwanted circumstances. And then you finally ended up disabling and deleting that plugin because that plugin is sucking up too many queries than it should.
Cloudsaf365, is a WordPress plugin developed by Craig Deveson and team, that provides 3 in 1 extreme security for your WordPress blog. The plugin allows you to back up your entire your WP blog, protects from malicious scripts and protects your content from being plagiarized. The plugin is build on a cloud based radial XPengine that monitors and protects your WordPress site in real time. Watch a short video below, to know how does the plugin works:
What is Cloudsafe365?
The plugin provides a triple layer security with some great inbuilt features like Analytics, 4 different back up options and many other features. I got a chance to get a Plus version copy of this plugin. I will cover up both, free and plus version features of the plugin. So keep on reading, you don’t wanna miss this!
The Dashboard gives you a summary of the site scanner, to check whether if your WordPress site is infected by any Malware or not. The scanner scans your WP site across 7 different scanner including a scanner from Cloudsafe365.
The Dashboard also gives you a summary about number of legitimate and non legitimate users who are trying to access your site, which also includes search engines bots and invalid bots which crawls your site. This dashboard is available in all version of the plugins.
2. Content Protection
The plugin protects your content from plagiarizer and hackers to stop them ripping of your hard work. The plugin stops scrappers from copying your content simply by disabling copy and right click function. The plugin will also stop auto bot from stealing your content.
3. Back up WordPress
The plugin gives you four options to back up your WordPress blog.
Automatic Back up: This feature is available only in Plus version of the plugin. This feature will back up your WordPress Database and all comments and post on external Cloudsafe365 server powered by Amazon on Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis.
Locally: This feature is available only in free version of the plugin. It will locally back up your WordPress Database and all comments and post on Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis.
Dropbox: You can back up your complete WordPress blog to Dropbox including database, plugins, themes, and other files in wp-content folder. You just have to sync your dropbox account with plugin. This feature is available in both, free and plus versions.
Computer: This option will allow you to download your WordPress database and save it on your computer. This feature is available in both, free and plus versions.
This one’s a great feature. The analytics tab allows you to track all valid and invalid bots which is seen on the dashboard summary tab. You can see 4 different tabs in the free version of the plugin and and 2 more tabs in the plus version. The free version can only show you the number stats. While the plus version shows the exact location of the IP address using IP Geo-Location Look UP.
White bots are nothing but search engine bots and other valid bot that crawls your website at regular intervals to check for new contents. And suppose if I click on Microsoft, I can see when exactly the bot from Microsoft crawled my site. See this image. The detailed feature is only available in the plus version, while free version can only show up the numbers of attempts.
Non legitimate are Black bots or Auto bots which try to crawl your site in an attempt to hack your blog or scrape content from your blog. These invalid bots are blocked by the plugin. Apart from this, if you click on any link you can see the exact Geo location of the IP, from where the attempt was made. See the image below:List of IP’s that were Quarantined.
If you click on any of the IP address, you will get exact Geo-location of the IP. See the image below:Geo-location of the IP address
You can see similar details for every type of attempts by the IP. Before installing the plugin, I received almost 6 to 7 Spam registrations a day. And after installing the plus version of the plugin all spam registrations came to an halt.
Attempts by CountryTotal number of non legitimate attempts made by a country
Attempts by IP AddressTotal number of attempts made by a Specific IP
You can see a detailed info of the attempts made by a specific IP which includes the date when attempt was made, attempt type and the pages along with Geo-location of the IP. See this image. You can allow a specific IP, if you think the IP address or the attempt made is legit.
Attempts by User AgentsTotal number of attempts made by specific User agents.
This tab is not available in free version of the plugin. If you click on any one of the referrer, you can see a the number of countries which made an attempt by the same referrer and you can allow the same. And similarly if you click on the IP, you can get the exact location of the user agent.

The plugin allows you to restore your blog from local server or from the Cloudsafe365 server. You can perform a recovery test before performing a live recovery, so you can verify if the restore is perfect. You can also restore files from Dropbox, but you have to perform it manually.
6. Email Reports.Get Daily, Weekly or Monthly Reports via Email
The plugin is still under beta stage, so you can try the plus version of the plugin just for $15 per month with first month free.
