You will require some basic and advance programming skills to create these apps. But With Nokia’s Ovi App Store, a person with no programming skills can build an app within a minutes using an online interface. All you need is a Blog with it’s RSS feeds. There’s no fees involved in creating an application, and the app can be downloaded by any one absolutely free. In the preceding part I will show you how to create and promote you blog via Nokia Ovi Store.


1. First visit Ovi app wizard and preview your blog using your blog feeds [ex: http://feeds.feedburner.com/iblognet]. You can add upto 3 more feeds.


2. Click on next and customize your app with required images, logo and descriptions.


3. Click on Next and create an account to submit your app.

4. Your account would be activated as soon as you register. You will see your app as pending until its been reviewed. Ususally it might take 7 to 10 days. Mine was reviewed within a week.

5.After your blog app is reviewed and published it time to promote your app. Login to your Ovi App account and click on promote

6. You will be given options to customize your app banner as per your requirement.

7. Click on Generate banners and choose standard banners from the drop down menu.

8. Click on Host, copy the code and add it to your blog.

Well i don’t think so its a good strategy to create Nokia app and promote it on ovi store, rather then you have great option to launch app on Google Play. What do you think so ?
