YouTube has been the best website to watch and share your videos online. It has been a great alternative for those webmasters who cannot host videos to their own servers. In return, YouTube places a small logo on its video player at the bottom right corner. But YouTube now gives you the full flexibility to remove that logo from the video player. YouTue has now added a new parameter to its parameter lists for removing that YouTube logo branding.
At the end of the video URL in your embed code, you just have to add the code – ?modestbranding=1 and the player will show without the YouTube logo in the control bar. See the video of Transformers 3 Trailer below:
<iframe height=”349″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/1234?modestbranding=1” frameborder=”0″ width=”560″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”></iframe>
<object width=”560″ height=”349″><param name=”movie” value=http://www.youtube.com/v/1234?version=3&hl=en_US&modestbranding=1“>src=”http://www.youtube.com/v/1234?version=3&hl=en_US&modestbranding=1” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” width=”560″ height=”349″ allowscriptaccess=”always” allowfullscreen=”true”></embed></object>
You can remove the logo from the video player, but still there will be a small “YouTube” text label which will show up in the upper-right corner of a paused video when you hover over the player.
Hope YouTube will soon give us the more option to add our own custom brand logo to the video player.
