How To Get Site Speed Report in Google Analytics

Page speed has always been an important parameter in determining search engine rankings. Recently Google introduced a new feature in the new version of Google Analytic, called as the Site Speed. This option will help webmasters to determine Page Load Time and Site Speed and get detailed analytics report.

Unfortunately the update is not automatic and you need to update your Google Analytics [GA] code manually. Follow the steps below to update your GA code.

If you have not added the GA code you can follow the instructions from here.

To get the site speed report you just have to add the following line to your GA tracking code.
 _gaq.push([‘_trackPageLoadTime’]);
