KumoSync: Manage All Google Docs From Your Desktop

KumoSyncGoogle Docs allows you to create and edit documents online to share it with friends, colleagues or publicly in real time. Google Docs supports various file formats like Microsoft files, Adobe files or even AutoCAD file types. You can access and manage all your documents online from the web browser. But KumoSync allows you to manage your documents more conveniently.

KumoSync is a freeware desktop application, which allows you to manage all your Google Docs files directly from your desktop. All you files are synced with the Google Docs in real time. Any changes made to the docs on your desktop will be synced to your Google Docs. For example, if you make any changes to any documents on your desktop, the file will be automatically uploaded to Google Docs server.

How To Setup KumoSync

Download the application from here and install on your desktop. Make sure you have installed Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5.

Run the app and add a new account. KumoSync allows you to add multiple Google [Gmail] account or Hosted Email accounts with Google Apps. Also select your folder location where all you documents will be synced. Switch the tab and you would be able to change the sync option for specified email account.

Once you add your email account, all your Google docs will be transfer to your desktop or vice versa. You can see an icon in system tray. Right click on it and select settings, then preference. You can change the preference of syncing documents as per your need. You can sync the documents after a specified interval or you can automatically start the application when you log in to Windows.


Once you sync all your docs from your desktop to Google Docs, you can verify them by logging to your Google Docs account. KumoSync works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, provided Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or higher is installed on your system.
